Laurie Elmquist

Laurie Elmquist has had short stories, memoir and poetry published in literary journals and anthologies. Her books for babies include Beach Baby, Forest Baby and City Baby and are published by Orca Book Publishers. She also writes for children. Her books Where's Burgess? and Ruckus are published by Orca Book Publishers for ages 6-8. They feature Reece Hansen and his family and friends. Laurie sets these stories in Victoria, where she lives with her husband and dog, and teaches creative writing at Camosun College and online for the University of Calgary.
